About This Blog
I suppose I wrote this blog because I wanted one source of information for everything to do with finding work.
Most of us need a job unless we marry, win or inherit money. Well I've been divorced, lost at the bookers and my parents are poor!
So I've had quite a few jobs in my time and its going to continue that way unless I win the lottery!
I want the information on this blog to be as simple and as straightforward as possible, so I concentrate on the following areas:
Find a job : links to help you find a job, whether its permanent or temp/contract
Lost a job : what to do if this happens, its happened to me in the past!
Career advice and job tools.
Links to the best job sites on the net: Lets face it they probably can help you find the information you need a lot quicker than me.
Also business news updates.

Lets Begin
This section has lists of all the major job sites on the web, ok it does not have all of them. But if you have looked for jobs before you know that jobserve is considered to be the daddy.
Check them out, look around and see what features they have. Jobserve will email you jobs with the criteria you are looking for as soon as they are posted.
The Useful stuff section has a great link to alec.co.uk which has loads of great information on how to improve your CV or interviewing techniques. If you are into computers then there are lots of sites you can practice interview questions just search for them.
Remember finding a job is a job in itself.
I will be posting entries on this blog as I start looking for a job myself.
